Classic Rooibos
A herbal tea from South Africa, made from the leaves and young shoots of the Aspalathus linearis shrub. The drink is characterised by a rich honey-herbal flavour with light floral and nutty notes, complemented by a delicate aroma and a pleasant sweet aftertaste.
Rooibos contains a significant amount of vitamin C and has antioxidant properties. It is free from caffeine and tannins, making it ideal for drinking at any time of day.
Method: pour boiling water over it and leave to steep for 3–5 minutes.
